England v West Indies

England Squad & Match Schedule

Andrew Strauss says the juices are flowing ’bout England v West Indies! It’s their final match in Group B at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai, India and a win is needed to keep the quest alive and progress into the quarter final stage, though that does depends on result at the weekend in the final few matches of the group.

A great deal is at stake in the England v West Indies match. It’s England’s last chance to do what they do and keep group B interesting right down to the wire on sunday. That there fat lady will be warbling away never mind twittering in the back ground should results not go England’s way on the weekend.

The Team Mantra is still as loud and clear as ever, “If we put everything together in one package we will be a huge force and very, very hard to beat. We want to do that against the West Indies.”

You just gotta believe that there Radio T’internet is choon’d.

The bugs have gone and the temper tantrums have been sorted about the “ludicrous” conditions. A fine imposed and now it’s time to chill.

Only one result will do for England today and then ’tis a waiting game for a couple of days. Should Bangladesh turn over South Africa on Saturday and West Indies beat India on Sunday, well that’s a nightmare for tha future.

Group A is already done and dusted as far as qualifications go for the quarter finals with all the usual suspect going through as anticipated months back.

For the now it’s time for England v West Indies remember the days way back when …
